Production
A
professional dancer with a varied background, he has danced in companies which
use different styles, amongst which the most notable are the Ballet Nacional de
España (under the direction of Antonio Ruiz), Carmen Werner’s Provisional Danza,
the Carl Paris Dance Co., Denise Perdikidis’ Ziradanza, Teresa Nieto en
Compañía. He has also worked in television, as a member of the Giorgio Aresu
Ballet and in various musicals, such as “Mamá quiero ser artista”, “Carmen
Carmen” and “Hello Dolly”, in all of which the star role was performed by
Concha Velasco.
Following his graduation in classical ballet from the Real Conservatorio
Superior de Danza in Madrid, in 1995-97, he took an MA in Cultural
Management: Music, Theatre and Dance, organized by the Institute of Musical
Sciences at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. He participated in the I
& II Seminars in Management of Dance Companies (organized by the Ministry
of Culture). In 2003, he obtained a diploma in Direction of Human Resources. In
the autumn of 2007 he took charge of the production department of Fernando
Hurtado Dance Company, combining this position with the technical co-ordination
of the Centro Cultural de la Villa in Nerja. In the area of production, he has
worked with Nacho Sánchez (distributer of dance performances) and at the
international festivals in Madrid, Madrid
en Danza and Los Veranos de la Villa.
