Two make a couple !
We
have always considered the innocence of children a good excuse to pardon the
odd little prank. It seems that a good intention is not enough for children
(nor older people) to prove that you did what you should have. The daily life
of a child is full of adventures, to which we adults don’t lend sufficient
importance.
Can
a child understand why he is scolded, when his desires were not bad ones? Is
defending what they feel and think a sin? Perhaps they are told off for not
wanting to study for a couple of days by being told to continue studying?
Grown-ups wouldn’t
hesitate for a moment to live all the adventures, which happen to them every
day:
Bring
bad marks home and have to hand them over to Mum and Dad. Be
sent to your room, without speaking to anyone (or left in the dark) When
teacher tells you off with crossed arms, books in hand … feeling like an idiot? Copying
in exams and not getting caught. Bribe
the class swot to do your homework Do
a good deed every week and feel like a saint. Catch
a thief robbing someone else’s house and be able to capture him yourself. Go out for a walk with
Dad and let him teach you how to be a useful member of society
…
And if you were to experience all this with YOUR TWIN BROTHER? It would be
incredible!
