you say doesn’t exist, what is it that he does to not exist?
Why is it marvellous to perhaps live without existing?

“Well, he doesn’t do anything”, I said, “and that’s why he exists”.
Or what he does, or thinks he does, is as if he didn’t do it.

-In fact, he who does nothing doesn’t exist but, you tell me,
from where does this term “exist” come?

-To exist, from the Latin ex-sistere, means to be, sístere;
outside oneself, ex. And one only exists for others.

- And to be or exist for oneself, what would we call that?

 -Well…in- sistere!

-Ah, you’ve hit it on the head! And it seems to me that when
that individual says he doesn’t exist, he meant to say he doesn’t insist …
